"I have never heard of an internship that offers more hands-on experiences or utilizes its interns so tangibly effect the community nearly as much as my internship with Law in Action. As a pre-law student, I could not have received more affirmation regarding my choice of a career to pursue working for any organization other than Law in Action. Twice a week, I had the opportunity to watch the legal system function firsthand. I learned Judicial Procedure from contact with both magistrate court and the public defender's office, and I learned how the constitutional rights are or are not guaranteed at a local level by watching indigent defendants' cases take their course.
